Lace Socks

My Lace Socks Finished!

These were so much fun to make , that I'd like to make another pair in a silk /merino blend! Lace weight , logenze lace, knee high socks, knit on 1.75 mm needles!

So, the Chesterville Spin in was a whole lot of fun.  I won a door prize !  142 yards of Shetland Lopi -Chunky from Karberry Farm  karenkauth@ripnet.com .

I bought some rich red/brown llama to spin , it came with a free magazine .  I chose an old copy Knitting Traditions .  There is a pattern for lace socks knit in lace weight yarn on 1.75mm needles that I started knitting.  It's very addictive , I can barely put them down.

Next purchase was from Etsy  https://www.etsy.com/shop/thesesecrets Silk hankies from BC . This lady is so cool, she only uses natural ingredients to dye with .  I think I bought it just because of the bag it came in , all hand drawn....so much love goes into her work.  Check out her shop.  I follow her on instagram too. Oh..... instagram I love you so...  There are a whole lot of knitters on instagram check it out!
